Hwy 73 project public open house scheduled May 11 in Floodwood
DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation has scheduled a public open house on May 11 to discuss a resurfacing, accessibility and safety improvement project on Highway 73 scheduled to begin in 2018 in Floodwood.
This project includes work on various highway segments on Highway 73 and one segment on Highway 2 in Floodwood.
The open house will be held Thursday, May 11 at the Floodwood City Hall, 111 West 8th Avenue, Floodwood, MN 55736.
The open house is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. There will be a short presentation at 6:15 p.m. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions and make comments following the presentation.

Mile marker 18 to 25 (south of Cromwell) resurfacing
Mile marker 31.3 to 33.6 (north of Cromwell) resurfacing
Mile marker 43.1 to 43.7 (Floodwood) resurfacing and accessibility improvements
Mile marker 48 to 69.6 (north of Floodwood) resurfacing

Mile marker 220.5 to 220.8 accessibility improvements in Floodwood
