Southbound I-35 ramp closures scheduled Dec. 12, 13 in Duluth
Duluth, Minn. – Motorists traveling on southbound Interstate 35 near 27th Avenue West in Duluth will encounter ramp closures, Thursday, Dec. 12 and Friday, Dec. 13.
The closures are needed while crews perform drilling and surveying in advance of the Twin Ports Interchange project, which is scheduled to begin in spring 2020.
The I-35 northbound off-ramp to 27th Avenue West will close Thursday, December 12. Work will start in this area at 9 a.m. This work is expected to be completed by noon or shortly thereafter and the ramp will reopen. Then the ramp from 27th Avenue West to northbound I-35 will close until 3 p.m. If the work at this location is not completed Thursday afternoon, work will resume Friday at 9 a.m. and continue until it is finished.
Motorists are asked to drive with caution near the work areas.
