Routine inspections, closures scheduled April 20‒22 in Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. —Motorists travelling on Interstate 35/I-535 and Highway 53 in Duluth will encounter temporary ramp closures and detours while crews do routine bridge and ramp inspections Monday, April 20 through Wednesday, April 22.
Monday, April 20
Ramps from northbound I-35 to eastbound I-535 and from southbound Highway 53 to eastbound I-535 will close for inspection. Motorists will be detoured.
Tuesday, April 21
Ramps form westbound I-535 to southbound I-35 and northbound Highway 53 will close for inspection. Motorists will be detoured
Thursday, April 22
Right lane closures will also occur on southbound Highway 53 to I35/I-535. Southbound Highway 53 to southbound I-35 and Highway 53 to eastbound I-535 will close. Motorists will be detoured.
Motorists are asked to be patient and use caution in and around work areas.
