Bridge painting begins on Sept. 9 in Climax and Red Lake Falls

BEMIDJI, Minn. – Motorists traveling on Highway 32 in Red Lake Falls and Highway 220 in Climax can expect short term delays and reduced lanes beginning September 9.  Crews begin bridge preservation and painting projects on the Clearwater River Bridge in Red Lake Falls and the Sand Hill River Bridge in Climax. MnDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions and follow traffic signs in work zones.

Rainbow Inc. from Minneapolis is the contractor for the $609,000 project, expected to be completed in October.
