Northbound Hwy 29 detour near Alexandria begins Oct. 17
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – Motorists on northbound Highway 29 near Alexandria will encounter a detour beginning Monday, Oct. 17, weather-permitting.
The detour will allow crews to complete paving on the Highway 29 roundabout at County Road 28/County Road 87.
Signs will direct northbound traffic east on County Road 4 toward Forada and north on County Road 87 back to Highway 29.
The detour is expected to remain in place about two days.
Southbound traffic will continue to detour west to the new County Road 28 alignment and back to Highway 29 on the old County Road 28 alignment.
