No travel advisory lifted for portions of west central Minnesota

DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – (2:40 a.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation has lifted a no travel advisory on the following state highways in west central Minnesota:

  • Interstate 94 – Highway 108 to Osakis
  • Highway 27 – Highway 55 near Hoffman to I-94
  • Highway 29 – Parkers Prairie to Glenwood
  • Highway 54 – Elbow Lake to Highway 27
  • Highway 55 – Highway 59 to Highway 9
  • Highway 59 – Dunvilla to I-94 and I-94 to Elbow Lake
  • Highway 78 – Ottertail to Battle Lake
  • Highway 79 – Elbow Lake to I-94
  • Highway 114 – I-94 to Highway 55 near Lowry

Snowplows have been out treating the roadways, but motorists should drive with caution as road conditions may still be slippery in some areas, especially on bridges, overpasses and tunnels.
No-travel advisory remains for the following state highway segments:

  • Highway 29 – Wadena to Parkers Prairie
  • Highway 78 – South of Battle Lake
  • Highway 106 – Highway 10 to Deer Creek
  • Highway 108 – Ottertail to Henning
  • Highway 210 – Battle Lake to Hewitt
