Alternating lane closures on I-94 near Alexandria begin Wednesday
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – Motorists on Interstate 94 will encounter alternating lane closures between the Highway 27 and 29 interchanges near Alexandria beginning Wednesday, March 27. The lane closures will last for approximately three weeks as crews construct crossovers in preparation for the upcoming construction on the eastbound lanes between Alexandria and Garfield.
Weather permitting, construction is scheduled to begin on April 15. At that time, traffic will be switched to one lane in both directions.
