Hwy 119 resurfacing project open house rescheduled for May 1
Construction begins this spring
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation has rescheduled the public open house for the 2019 resurfacing project on Highway 119, between Highway 12 north of Appleton and Highway 40 in Lac Qui Parle County. The open house will be held from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 1, at the Appleton Civic Center, 323 West Schlieman Avenue.
The open house was originally scheduled to take place on April 10, but was rescheduled due to weather.
Residents and business owners are encouraged to attend the open house to learn more about the project and traffic impacts. Representatives from the project team will be available to discuss details and answer questions.
In addition to the Highway 119 resurfacing project, the public can also learn more about the Milan Bridge project that’s scheduled for the 2019 construction season. The Milan Bridge replacement project will take place on Highway 40 east of Milan.
