Lane switch on I-94 between Garfield and Alexandria begins next week
Lake Latoka Rest Area will be closed during construction
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. –Starting Monday, April 22, motorists on Interstate 94 between the Garfield and Alexandria exits will encounter head-to-head traffic in the westbound lanes through the end of August.
The eastbound lanes between Highway 114 and Highway 29 will be closed as crews begin a concrete resurfacing project and replace the eastbound bridge over Lake Latoka.
The Lake Latoka Rest Area will also be closed during construction.
