Construction on Hwys 27, 75 in Wheaton complete
DETROIT LAKES, Minn. — All lanes are open on Highways 27 and 75 in Wheaton. The highways have been under construction since August, as crews completed resurfacing, sidewalk improvements and accessibility upgrades in the city of Wheaton.
As crews complete final cleanup along the roadsides, the Minnesota Department of Transportation urges motorists to slow down, eliminate distractions and drive with caution.
MnDOT appreciates the public’s patience, support and commitment to safety during this year’s construction.
Ti-Zack Concrete Inc., based out of Le Center, was the prime contractor for the $1.74 million project. For more information about the project, visit mndot.gov/d4/projects/wheaton.
