Daily shoulder closures, temporary lane closures on Hwy 210 west of Fergus Falls start next week

DETROIT LAKES, Minn.— Starting the week of March 30, motorists traveling on Highway 210 west of Fergus Falls will encounter daily shoulder closures and potential temporary lane closures as crews repair a culvert just west of the Interstate 94 interchange. The work is expected to be completed by mid-May.

The repairs will fix a washout that occurred after heavy rainfall late last fall.

The culvert work is separate from the upcoming construction project on Highway 210 from west of I-94 to east of the Wilkin/Otter Tail county line. To find out more information about that project and to sign up for project email updates, visit mndot.gov/d4/projects/hwy210.

MnDOT urges motorists to always drive with caution, and reminds them to slow down in the work zone, obey traffic control, and never enter an area that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
