Ortonville to Hwy 59

Construction details

Highway 12 between Ortonville and Highway 59 is open to traffic. Crews will return Spring 2022 to complete snow fence installation, install infiltration basin and establish turf. This work will have minimal impact on the motoring public.

**Note from MnDOT: We are aware of the poor ride conditions of the new pavement on Highway 12 . Moisture and freeze/thawing are expected to be the cause. We anticipate seeing some improvements as the road base dries out this spring/summer, but we will continue to monitor it.

Project summary

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will complete a project to resurface, widen shoulders, improve snow trap locations and replace box culverts on Highway 12, from Ortonville/Highway 75 to Highway 59.
