Lane closure begins Friday, Jan. 15 for eastbound I-90 at Dresbach bridge
ROCHESTER, Minn. —Eastbound Interstate 90 motorists will encounter a right lane closure on Friday, Jan. 15 for work related to the Dresbach bridge project, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The lane closure is scheduled through 3:30 p.m., on Friday. The closure allows work crews to pour concrete for a retaining wall, which is part of the Dresbach bridge project
The $187.5 million river bridge project is a cooperative effort between the Minnesota and Wisconsin departments of transportation and will continue into the fall. The project includes constructing a new I-90 crossing over the Mississippi River and reconstructing the Highway 61/14 and the I-90 interchange.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
