Westbound I-90 ramp closure postponed to Feb. 18 at Dresbach bridge

ROCHESTER, Minn. –   The scheduled Dresbach bridge ramp closure for Interstate 90 westbound on Wednesday, Feb. 17 has been postponed to Thursday, Feb. 18, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

The ramp closure will be from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The westbound I-90 exit ramp for the boat landings near the Dresbach rest area will be closed. Motorists who want to use the boat landings can access the area via northbound Highway 61.

The $187.5 million river bridge project is a cooperative effort between the Minnesota and Wisconsin departments of transportation and will continue into the fall. The project includes constructing a new I-90 crossing over the Mississippi River and reconstructing the Highway 61/14 and the I-90 interchange.

MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
