Westbound I-90 exit at Dresbach bridge closed Feb. 8 for concrete work
ROCHESTER, Minn. – The westbound Interstate 90 exit for the boat landings near the Dresbach rest area will be closed Monday, Feb. 8 while concrete is poured for the bridge abutment, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Motorists who want to use the boat landings can access the area via northbound Highway 61.
The exit from westbound I-90 will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. to allow crews to safely complete the task. If the work is delayed, crews plan to move the task to Tuesday, Feb. 9.
The $187.5 million river bridge project is a cooperative effort between the Minnesota and Wisconsin departments of transportation and will continue into the fall. The project includes constructing a new I-90 crossing over the Mississippi River and reconstructing the Highway 61/14 and the I-90 interchange.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
