MnDOT postpones Hwy 52 Cannon Falls interchange roundabout curb work
ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation has postponed work on the curb of the Highway 52-Goodhue County Road 24 east side interchange roundabout.
A new date for construction will be announced later this season, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. The interchange will remain open.
MnDOT officials met with Cannon Falls community members and leaders Friday, April 22 and decided to postpone the work.
Work is needed on the northbound Highway 52 interchange roundabout curb to correct its height.
MnDOT urges motorists to follow these recommendations in work zones: Stay alert, watch for signs, equipment and workers, minimize distractions, such as using cell phones, eating or drinking, avoid tailgating, follow posted speed limits and directional signs, and stay in one lane while driving through a work zone
