Hwy 52 repaving work begins May 9 near Pine Island, Zumbrota
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Construction is scheduled to begin on Monday, May 9 on the repaving work on southbound Highway 52 near Pine Island and Zumbrota, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Beginning Monday, May 9, motorists will encounter the closure of the right lane on southbound Highway 52 in two areas: one at Pine Island and the other from Goodhue County Road 7 north of Zumbrota to the south junction of Highway 60, which is south of Zumbrota.
Single lane traffic for southbound traffic will be in effect during the project and the lane closures will switch as the project progresses. The project will be completed by the end of June.

MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
