Hwy 60 detour planned near West Albany for bridge deck repaving

ROCHESTER, Minn. — Motorists on Highway 60 near West Albany in Wabasha County will be detoured beginning Sept. 6, while Minnesota Department of Transportation crews repave the bridge at Spring Creek.

The repaving work will require a detour for traffic that will take westbound Hwy 60 traffic north on Wabasha County Road 4 to Wabasha County Road 33 west to Wabasha County Road 2 south, where it connects with Hwy 60. The eastbound route is the reverse.

The work is scheduled to be completed by Sept. 30.

The route for motorists traveling to Spring Creek Motocross is signed and accessible from the east side of the work zone on Highway 60.

Motorists should always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
