Lane closures planned in Red Wing Hwy 61 (Main Street) for concrete repairs
ROCHESTER, Minn. – Motorists on Highway 61 (Main Street) in Red Wing will encounter some lane closures beginning Nov. 2 as crews make concrete repairs, according to the city of Red Wing and the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The project is completed, but crews go through and review pavement and other aspects of the project to determine if any repairs are needed to move it to final completion.
The work is expected to take several weeks.
The two-year, $9.7 million road reconstruction project was led by the city of Red Wing and included utility improvements, traffic signal and corridor aesthetic upgrades. Meyer Contracting of Maple Grove, Minnesota, was the prime contractor.
