I-90 lane closures planned at Dresbach Bridge for joint repairs beginning May 23
Dresbach, Minn. – Motorists on Interstate 90 will encounter daytime lane closures in both directions on the Dresbach Bridge beginning Tuesday, May 23, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The lane closures are necessary to repair bridge joints. Work is expected to take two days. The lane closures will be in effect during the work day, but taken down each night.
The Dresbach Bridge project included the construction of a new I-90 crossing over the Mississippi River and reconstruction of the Highway 61/14 and I-90 interchange. The $187.5 million project began in late 2012 and was completed in early November 2016.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
