Bridge deck repairs will slow traffic on Hwy 26 near Reno starting July 31
RENO, Minn. – Motorists will encounter short-term traffic delays for one week beginning Monday, July 31 on Highway 26 south of Reno in Houston County as crews repair a concrete bridge deck, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The bridge is located just north of Houston County Road 249, about a mile south of Reno. Traffic will be reduced to one lane across the bridge and controlled by a portable traffic signal system. Stop and go traffic is possible and motorists may see short delays crossing the bridge. Work began at 11 a.m. Monday, July 31 and will continue through Monday, Aug. 7 at noon.
Motorists should always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones and never enter a road blocked with barriers or cones.
