Open house set Oct. 10 in Zumbro Falls for 2018 Hwy 63 paving projects
ZUMBRO FALLS, Minn. – The public is invited to an open house Tuesday, Oct. 10 in Zumbro Falls to learn more about the Hwy 63 paving projects scheduled in 2018, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The meeting will be held from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 10 at Zumbro Falls City Hall, which is connected to the Zumbro Falls Fire Department on Highway 60.
Motorists and residents in the region can learn more about the details of the project, including access to homes and businesses during the project, detour routes and improvements planned.
MnDOT is planning to resurface Hwy 63 from the Hwy 63/75th St. NW roundabout near Rochester to the Zumbro River bridge in Zumbro Falls beginning in mid-June of 2018. The project will pave this stretch with concrete and replace four culverts across Hwy 63. It is expected to be completed in September. In May 2018, blacktop repaving work and culvert replacements are scheduled for Hwy 63 from the Zumbro River bridge in Zumbro Falls to Wabasha County Road 78, north of Oak Center.
