I-90 eastbound lane closures east of Albert Lea begin April 8 for concrete repair
ALBERT LEA, Minn. – Lanes on eastbound Interstate 90 will be closed beginning April 8, while maintenance crews repair portions of the concrete road near Hayward, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
MnDOT maintenance crews will be closing the left eastbound lane near Hayward, beginning on Monday. The closure will be between mile markers 164 and 165. The closures will be marked in advance.
Crews will then reopen the left lane and then close the right lane on April 15 to finish the work. The right lane closure will last approximately one week.
Traffic will remain open on the highway, but eastbound traffic will be restricted to one lane during this repair work.
