Public open house set Oct. 22 for Hwy 60 repaving project at Mazeppa, Zumbro Falls
MAZEPPA, Minn. — The public is invited to attend an information open house on Tuesday, Oct. 22 in Mazeppa to learn about a Hwy 60 repaving project from Hwy 52 to Hwy 63 that includes Mazeppa and Zumbro Falls, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
Representatives of MnDOT and others will be available to answer questions and provide information from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Zumbrota-Mazeppa Elementary School, 343 Third Avenue NE in Mazeppa.
During the session, MnDOT will discuss the plan for 2022. People may drop by at any time during the session. Maps and information will be available for review.
In 2022, MnDOT will be resurfacing Hwy 60 between Hwy 63 and Hwy 52, including the communities of Zumbro Falls and Mazeppa. Seven culvert replacements are planned along the 14-mile route along with a bridge replacement west of Zumbro Falls. ADA improvements are planned in Zumbro Falls and Mazeppa. In Zumbro Falls, reconstruction of the road is planned. Detours are planned.
