Hwy 52 road improvements completed from Marion to Chatfield

CHATFIELD, Minn. – The paving and culvert replacement project is complete on Highway 52 from Marion to Chatfield, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Rochester Sand & Gravel, a MnDOT contractor, repaved the roadway and replaced culverts along Highway 52 from Marion through Chatfield. Detours were required during the project. Work in Chatfield also took place, which included paving, signal replacement and sidewalk improvements for people who are walking and biking.

Benefits of the project include smoother pavement, improved shoulders, better drainage, and improved safety.
