I-90 westbound Marion Rest Area temporarily closed March 11 during utility interruption

EYOTA, Minn. — The westbound Interstate 90 Marion Rest Area will be closed for approximately five hours on Wednesday, March 11 while electric service is interrupted, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
The rest area will be closed while utility crews relocate an electric power feed. The rest area will close by 9 a.m. on Wednesday and reopen by 2 p.m. If the work is completed sooner, crews will reopen the rest area sooner. The rest area is at mile marker 222, west of the Hwy 42 exit to Eyota, about 3.5 miles east of the Hwy 52 exit to Rochester. The next rest area after Marion is Oakland Woods Rest Area at mile marker 171 west of Austin.
