Hwy 4 north of Sherburn open to both lanes of traffic following flooding
MANKATO, Minn. — The Minnesota Department of Transportation opened Hwy 4 north of Sherburn to both lanes of traffic. The road was closed June 23 due to flooding and opened to single-lane traffic July 6 after MnDOT crews installed retaining floodwalls.
Motorists will encounter a reduced speed limit and advisory speed signs along a portion of Hwy 4. One of the retaining floodwalls will remain in place until water levels further recede.
