Highway 60 median barriers installed; traffic restrictions removed
MANKATO, Minn. — The installation of cable median barriers along Highway 60 from Lake Crystal to Mankato has been completed and the traffic restrictions are in the process of being removed.
The project was part of districtwide safety improvements to limit severe cross-median crashes on four-lane divided highways. More information on the barriers can be found at mndot.gov/trafficeng/reports/cmbarrier.html.
The cable median barrier project extends from Blue Earth County Road 112 in Lake Crystal to the south junction of Highway 60 and Highway 169 and along Highway 169/60 in Mankato to the Blue Earth River.
