About this project
Constructed in the 1970’s, Interstate 90 will need on-going work to maintain the system. The bridges are approaching 50 years and nearing the end of their service life. MnDOT will continue to invest in this critical corridor that is part of the National Highway System.

2018
- Median guardrail installed in Rock and Nobles Counties
2017
- Bridge Repairs at SD Border (2), Beaver Creek (2)
- Sherburn to Fairmont (WB mill & overlay and bridge repairs)
- Luverne – Magnolia (WB – concrete repair, shoulder replacement and interchange lighting at Hwy 75)
2016
- Rushmore to Worthington, westbound lanes
- Worthington to Round Lake, eastbound lanes
- Crossover and pond construction at Fairmont
- Round Lake to Lakefield, westbound lanes
2015
- Hwy 22 – Hwy 109 near Alden (EB & WB lanes - concrete overlay)
- Round Lake - Sherburn (WB & EB lanes - combination of concrete and asphalt overlay)
- Adrian – Rushmore (EB lanes - concrete overlay)

- Bridge Repairs at Adrian (4), Jackson (4) and Blue Earth (7)
