Hwy 59 seal coat project starts Friday, July 7
WILLMAR, Minn. – The Highway 59 seal project will start Friday, July 7. Highway 59 between Marshall and Garvin Corners (intersection of Highway 59 and Highway 14) will receive a seal coat while rumble strips will be installed on Highway 59 between Slayton and Pete’s Corner.
The project is anticipated to be complete by Friday, July 14. Motorists can expect short delays as traffic will be reduced to one lane. Morris Sealcoat is the contractor.
MnDOT asks motorists to slow down and pay attention while driving through work zones. Motorists who speed through a work zone or who disobey work zone flaggers face a $300 fine.
