Highway 23 reduced to one lane in Spicer

Northbound and southbound traffic on Highway 23 has been reduced to one lane in Spicer. The right lane in both directions will be closed for up to ten days between South Street and Madayto Street. Motorists may encounter delays as they travel through the work zone.

Work to upgrade traffic signals, sidewalk and pedestrian crossings to meet modern Americans with Disabilities (ADA) standards is the first portion of the Highway 23 resurfacing project.

For more information on the project, visit the project webpage at mndot.gov/d8/projects/hwy23willmarnewlondon.

MnDOT asks motorists to slow down and pay attention while driving through work zones. Remember, orange cones, no phones. Motorists who speed through a work zone or who disobey work zone flaggers face a $300 fine.
