Highway 23 from Willmar to Clara City upgraded to no travel advised
WILLMAR, Minn. – (10:00 p.m.) Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) crews have been able to clear Highway 23 from Willmar to Clara City as winds have died back. Although the road has been reopened, it has been placed in a no travel advised status.
No Travel Advised means that the roadway is very dangerous to travel; there are reports of intermittent white out conditions; and, some weather conditions can be severe enough that road treatments, such as salt or sand, are not effective.
MnDOT advises all motorists to check the 511mn.org website for specific state highway information before traveling.
