No travel advisories lifted on state highways in Lyon County
WILLMAR, Minn. – (8:45 a.m.) The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) has lifted all no travel advisories for Lyon County. All state highways are open and MnDOT crews have upgraded roads to partially snow-covered and completely snow-covered.
MnDOT advises motorists that portions of state highways 19, 68, 67 and 71 in neighboring Redwood County are still under no travel advisories.
The public can view winter road conditions for specific highways through the 511mn.org website. Please note that not all plows have cameras. Road conditions on major highways can also be viewed through the Road Weather Information System (RWIS), which is also part of 511.
