Community meeting for Highway 67 Clarkfield reconstruction project set for September 17 in Clarkfield

WILLMAR, Minn. — MnDOT is hosting a community meeting on Tuesday, September 17 in Clarkfield for the upcoming Highway 67 Clarkfield reconstruction project.

A meeting, for impacted businesses, will be held first from 5-6 p.m. The community meeting will start at 6 p.m. Both meetings will be held at the Clarkfield Café.

These meetings are the first step in a series of a conversations with the community about the 2023 project which will reconstruct Highway 67 from just east of Highway 59 to 6th Street. Upgrades to sidewalks and pedestrian ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities (ADA) standards are also included in the project. Construction is expected to begin spring of 2023 and take a full construction season (May-October). Due to the extensive nature of the work, a detour will be required.

Staff from MnDOT and its consultant on the project, SRF will be present at both meetings to talk about the project, listen to residents and answer questions.
