About this project
Statewide Pedestrian Bridge Improvement Design-Build Project
- This project involves modifying and partially reconstructing four pedestrian bridges in MnDOT Districts 1, 8, and Metro.
- The repairs are intended to increase the lifespan of the bridges.
- Ramps will be constructed at each end of the new pedestrian bridge to make it accessible to all users.
Traffic impacts
- The pedestrian bridge spanning Hwy 212 in Glencoe between 6th St. E. and 5th St. E. will be closed during the project.
- Pedestrians can use Hennepin Ave. N. to cross Hwy 212 during construction.
