Hwy 8 reconstruction open house scheduled for March 10 in Chisago County
Crews are constructing a single-lane roundabout at the west intersection of Hwy 8 and Hwy 95
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — The public is invited to learn about the Highway 8 reconstruction work scheduled this summer at an upcoming open house.
The open house will take place on Thursday, March 10 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Chisago Lakes Area Library, 11754 302nd St. in Chisago City. Open house attendees will have an opportunity to find out about project staging, traffic impacts and detours. Roundabout education and safety information also will be on display. There will be no formal presentation.
Crews will be replacing pavement on Highway 8 from the west intersection of Highway 95/Tern Ave. in Franconia and Shafer Townships to the St Croix River Bridge in Taylors Falls which will require the highway to be closed to through traffic. Detours will be posted for cars and trucks. The project also includes constructing a roundabout at the west intersection of Highway 8 and Highway 95.
