Northbound I-35E ramp to County Road E in Vadnais Heights closes April 18
ROSEVILLE, Minn.—Motorists on northbound Interstate 35E in Vadnais Heights will encounter a ramp closure on Monday, April 18.
Beginning at 6 a.m., the ramp from northbound I-35E to County Road E will close. The ramp is expected to re-open in approximately three weeks.
Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour of northbound I-35E, westbound Highway 96, southbound I-35E and County Road E.
In addition, beginning at 4 a.m., Monday, April 18, northbound I-35E will have intermittent lane closures between County Road E and Highway 96 throughout the construction season.
The ramp closure is part of the two-year I-35E Goose Lake Road and Highway 96 road resurfacing project. In addition to resurfacing, the work includes widening the road, re-decking and widening the Highway 96 bridge, replacing the I-35E bridges over Goose Lake Road, updating drainage, repairing guardrail and constructing a trail. The work is expected to be complete by Dec 2016.
MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution and slowdown in work zones.
