Northbound I-35E lane closure in Vadnais Heights begins April 28
Single-lane traffic on northbound I-35E through late May
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter a single lane of traffic on northbound
Interstate 35E in the northeast Twin Cities Metro area beginning Thursday, April 28.
Beginning at 6 a.m. on Thursday, April 28, the northbound lanes of I-35E between County Road E and Goose Lake Road in Vadnais Heights will be reduced to a single lane through late May.
All businesses and residences will remain accessible throughout the project. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution and slowdown in work zones.
The lane closures are part of the two-year I-35E Goose Lake Road and County Highway 96 road resurfacing project. In addition to resurfacing, the work includes widening the road, re-decking and widening the County Highway 96 bridge, replacing the I-35E bridges over Goose Lake Road, updating drainage, repairing guardrail and constructing a trail. The work is expected to be complete by Dec 2016.
