Hwy 3 pavement project in Farmington and Empire Township begins June 13
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter delays and lane closures on Highway 3 between Highway 50 in Farmington and 170th St in Empire Township beginning Monday, June 13.
Beginning at 8:30 a.m. alternating lanes will close starting on the south end of the construction project.
In addition, area residents, business owners and motorists can expect up to five full closures throughout the project with the dates yet to be determined.
The construction will provide a smoother road surface, extend the life of the pavement, close or modify access to Highway 3, improve drainage and update pedestrian crossings to meet modern ADA requirements.
