Environmental Assessment released for I-35W North Corridor Preliminary Design Project

Public hearings set for Sept. 13, Sept 14

ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The Minnesota Department of Transportation invites the public to attend an Environmental Assessment (EA) public informational meeting regarding proposed improvements to Interstate 35W between Roseville and Lino Lakes. The EA outlines the purpose of the project and the anticipated social, economic and environmental impacts. The project includes:

  • Constructing a MnPASS Express Lane in both directions from south of County Road C to Lexington Avenue
  • Repairing the pavement along the corridor
  • Constructing an auxiliary lane on westbound Highway 10 from I-35W to 93rd Lane.

The information shared at both meetings will be the same information. The meetings will be held at the following locations and times:

Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016

The non formal, public meetings will provide an opportunity for people to learn about the proposed project, make comments and ask questions. There will not be a formal presentation at the meetings. MnDOT staff and engineers will be available to answer questions. A court reporter will be available to take verbal comments, and comment cards will be available for people who wish to provide written comments for the public record.
