Overnight westbound Interstate 94 in St. Paul closing Sept. 7
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists will encounter delays and a detour on westbound Interstate 94 in St. Paul as the road will close between Marion St. and Lexington Pkwy beginning at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7.
Motorist should follow the posted detours using I-35E, Highway 36 and Highway 280 to bypass the closure.
The interstate will reopen by 5 a.m. on Thursday, Sept 8.
The closure is necessary as crews finish setting the beams for the Grotto St. pedestrian and bike bridge, which is being replaced.
The pedestrian and bike bridges will remain closed until approximately November.
During the closure, pedestrians and bicyclists should use Dale St. as a detour.
