Southbound Hwy 100 ramp to 50th Street in Edina closing Oct. 17
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists trying to reach 50th Street and Vernon Avenue in Edina from southbound Highway 100 will find the ramp closed starting Oct. 17.
The ramp will remain closed until mid-December, weather permitting, while crews install a noise wall east of Interlachen Boulevard to Minnehaha Creek in Edina.
The detour calls for motorists to continue on Highway 100 to Benton Avenue then go northbound on Normandale Road.
The right lane from the 50th Street ramp to the railroad bridge also will be closed.
The sidewalk will be closed on the northside of 50th Street and Vernon Avenue.
Walkers will be directed to Gus Young Lane, Eden Avenue and Arcadia Avenue to get around the closure.
