Weekend closure on Hwy 100 in St. Louis Park begins Oct. 21
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – Motorists traveling on Highway 100 between Interstate 394 and Highway 62 will encounter a detour beginning Oct. 21, as crews close the highway to pave the road through St. Louis Park.
At 10 p.m., Friday, Oct. 21, both directions of Highway 100 between Interstate 394 in Golden Valley and Highway 62 in Edina will close, weather permitting. The highway ramps between the two communities will close at 9 p.m. The road and ramps will reopen by 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 24.
Motorists should follow the detour signs and use I-35W and Highway 169 as alternate routes.
After the weekend closure, Highway 100 between Minnetonka Boulevard and Excelsior Boulevard will be two lanes in each direction and the Highway 7 bridge will remain closed until the project is complete. Crews anticipate reopening the 36th Street exit to northbound Highway 100 and the southbound Highway 100 ramp to 36th Street soon after the weekend closure.
