Public comments sought on proposed construction of new interchange at Hwy 169 and 101st Avenue in Brooklyn Park
Public open house planned for Thursday, Nov. 10
Roseville, Minn. – The public is invited to review and provide comments on a proposed project to construct a new full access interchange at the current intersection of Highway 169 and 101st Avenue in the city of Brooklyn Park. An Environmental Assessment Worksheet (EAW) for the project is now available for public review and comment through Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016.
In addition to the new interchange, the project also includes reconstruction of 101st Avenue to a four-lane roadway between Jefferson Highway and Xylon Avenue and construction of auxiliary lanes along Highway 169 between Highway 610 and the proposed interchange. The proposed work also includes storm water ponds and new trails and sidewalks. The project is not currently scheduled for construction.
The EAW document is available on the project website at http://projects.srfconsulting.com/hwy169and101st. The document is also available for public review and copying during regular business hours at the following locations:

The public also is invited to attend an informational open house on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Grace Fellowship Church, 8601 101st Avenue North, Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The meeting will include displays and project staff will be available to answer questions.
