Northbound I-35W ramps at Hwy 10, County Road H open today in Arden Hills
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — The ramps from westbound Highway 10 to northbound Interstate 35W and from northbound I-35W to Ramsey County Road H in Arden Hills opened to traffic at 12 noon this afternoon. Ramsey County closed the ramp from Highway 10 to I-35W in April to rebuild the ramp to carry traffic bound for the northbound interstate over a newly built ramp from northbound I-35W to County Road H.
Work on the two ramps was part of a larger county-led project to rebuild the interchange at I-35W and County Road H in Mounds View and Arden Hills. Work on the interchange, including construction of two roundabouts at each end of the County Road H bridge, was completed last fall.
Additional work is underway to rebuild Ramsey County Road I, reconstruct the interchange at northbound I-35W and County Road I and build a new Old Highway 10 frontage road to connect County Road H to County Road I. That project is expected to be completed late this fall.
