Hwy 50 closure in Farmington, Hampton extended through Sept. 6
ROSEVILLE, Minn. – The closure of Highway 50 between Highway 3 in Farmington and Highway 52 in Hampton has been extended through Sept. 6 due to unforeseen utility work.
Highway 50 between Highway 3 and Blaine Avenue is now expected to reopen by 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6.
Motorists should follow the signed detour using Highway 3, County Road 66 and Blaine Avenue to bypass the closure. There will be no thru access from Highway 3 to Highway 52 during the closure.
These closure are necessary as crews finish installing pipes beneath the road.
