Operating a safe, reliable transportation network is a priority for Minnesota. TSMO develops approaches to improve travel for motorists, transit users, bicyclists, and pedestrians. Sustaining an effective TSMO program depends on periodic, consensus-driven planning. The TSMO Strategic Plan builds on the prior successes of MnDOT’s TSMO planning and practices. The 2024 TSMO Strategic Plan defines TSMO in Minnesota. It explains how it aligns with other MnDOT planning efforts, sets TSMO goals and objectives, and establishes a set of TSMO Tactical Plans. The Tactical Plans provide direction on the implementation of specific areas of TSMO.
