About Our Programs
One third of MnDOT’s technical workforce will be eligible to retire by 2016. At the same time, the demographics of the State of Minnesota are changing.
To maintain a competitive edge as an ‘employer of choice’ and accurately represent the diverse citizens we serve, MnDOT seeks a younger generation of diverse, talented and qualified workers through our student worker and internship programs.
MnDOT has designed these programs in an effort to equip and train you for potential permanent placement within our organization upon graduation.
As a leader in the transportation industry, MnDOT looks for dynamic employees from all walks of life. Our student programs provide job opportunities for both high school and college students.
Day-to-day opportunities include participating in meetings and training classes, as well as networking with industry professionals in your chosen field of study. .
If you're a college-level minority or economically disadvantaged student or a student with a disability interested in a student worker career track program, check out the Seeds Program.
