MnDOT asking for public input through survey, hosting virtual public meeting on London Road project
DULUTH, Minn. — MnDOT is hosting a virtual public meeting on Wednesday, April 7, at 5 p.m. to talk about the upcoming construction project along London Road/Hwy 61 in Duluth. The project is tentatively scheduled for 2025. MnDOT is also asking the public to take a survey to give input on how the corridor from 26th Avenue East to 60th Avenue East flows.
To prevent further spread of COVID-19, MnDOT is not hosting any in-person public meetings at this time. During this virtual meeting, MnDOT staff will talk about the London Road/Hwy 61 project, what’s being mentioned in the survey already and answer questions from the public. The survey asks the public for input on what intersections need attention, how they see traffic flowing better, bike and pedestrian usage and more.
Links to the virtual meeting and the survey can be found at mndot.gov/d1/projects/londonroad. For those unable to attend the April 7 virtual public meeting, a recording of the meeting will be posted to the same page to be viewed when convenient.
