Southbound I-35 overnight closure beginning April 15 in Duluth
DULUTH, Minn. — Motorists travelling on southbound I-35 will encounter an overnight closure and detour beginning Thursday, April 15 in Duluth.
Southbound I-35 will close near 14th Avenue East for the installation of a temporary overhead sign for the Twin Ports Interchange project. Closures will begin at 9 p.m. Thursday, April 15. I-35 will reopen to traffic by 5 a.m. Friday, April 16. Originally this closure was scheduled for April 2 but was put on hold due to a fabrication issue.
During the closure traffic will be detoured at 26th Avenue East to London Road to Superior Street to Lake Avenue.
